Why I built this

I've lost count of how many times I've wanted to find a good sermon on a specific chapter of the Bible. The problem? There might be 5,000 sermons available on that chapter, but no way to know which ones are actually worth your time.

So I started building a tool that uses AI to analyze sermons and surface the ones that demonstrate clear exposition, theological depth, and practical application. The goal: help you find exceptional preaching without wading through thousands of results.

Current limitations

Right now, analysis is slow. Processing a single sermon takes significant GPU time, and I'm running on limited hardware. This means:

  • Only a fraction of sermons have full analysis
  • New sermons take time to process
  • Some features are delayed while I build capacity
What your support enables
  • Better hardware — More sermons analyzed per week
  • More churches — Broader coverage across denominations
  • New features — Find sermons by topic, theme, or preacher
  • Hosting costs — Keeps the site fast and available
Current Release

Scripture Connections slider: filter by cross-reference density
Scripture Density slider: filter by references per 1K words

Roadmap highlights
  • Full-text sermon search
  • Topic and theme detection
  • Preacher profiles with sermon history
  • Theologian tracking — see which theologians a pastor quotes most (Calvin, Spurgeon, Lewis...)
  • Evaluative summaries — learn a pastor's interpretive stance, not just topics
  • "Hidden gems" discovery — surfacing exceptional sermons from lesser-known preachers

If this site helped you find a sermon, consider supporting the project.
